Men's lacrosse sees five named to All-OAC teams

WESTERVILLE – Five members of the Otterbein University men's lacrosse team were honored with All-OAC accolades, as announced on Wednesday morning. Jack Regruth and Theron Cable earned Second Team recognition, with Max Luther, Andrew Lewis and Tyler Pruden all landing on the Honorable Mention.

Regruth led Otterbein with 52 points this season, scoring 31 goals and adding 21 assists. The junior's nine man-up goals were an Otterbein-best, with 32 of his points coming in OAC competition. On Apr. 3, the attacker reached the 100 career point mark against Capital University.

Cable was a standout defenseman for the Cardinals, leading the team with 20 caused turnovers. The 20 caused turnovers ranked second in the conference. He picked up 35 ground balls while starting all 16 games as a senior to join Regruth on the All-OAC Second Team.

Luther enjoyed a breakout campaign as a sophomore, accounting for a team-leading 40 goals and adding eight assists. The 40 goals tied for third-most in the league. In OAC action, the attacker tallied 20 goals and seven assists.

With 22 assists this season, Lewis led the Cardinals, posting a 36-point season. In the Apr. 15 win over Wilmington, the junior recorded six points, coming off a pair of goals and four assists. This is his second straight year earning Honorable Mention All-OAC honors.

Pruden, a sophomore, appeared in all 16 contests, earning All-OAC accolades as a short-stick defensive midfielder. He caused 10 turnovers – eight in OAC play – and picked up 33 ground balls in 2026.

The Otterbein men's lacrosse team concluded its 2026 campaign with an 8-8 overall record and a fourth-place finish in the OAC regular season standings.
