CAPITAL FALL CLASSIC RESULTS

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio - David Monaco was named Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) men's golfer of the week, released on Tuesday by the league office.

Monaco, a senior from Westerville (North), earned the honors following an impressive 1st place finish at the Capital Fall Classic this past weekend at Royal American Links Golf Club. 

Monaco finished nine under-par with a 135 (68-67) to surpass fellow Cardinal Luke Kindelin, who finished 2nd, by seven strokes. This is Monaco's second time this season placing in the top two, having previously done so at the Ohio Dominican University Kickoff Classic on Sept. 8.

The Cardinals took the first three spots in the 25-player field en route to a 24 stroke victory over 2nd place Ohio Northern with 592 (297-295). Capital rounded out the three-team match with 616 (308-308).
