ADA, Ohio – The Otterbein men's lacrosse team rebounded with a nice Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) road win Wednesday night, improving to 3-1 in league play after a 13-8 triumph at Ohio Northern University.
The Cardinals, eager for redemption after a tough 10-7 loss to Baldwin Wallace over the weekend, trailed 2-1 early on before igniting a four-goal spurt during the first quarter.
Otterbein led 5-3 as the second period kicked off, but two goals from leading-scorer
Robbie Guiliano helped Otterbein seize a 9-3 advantage by halftime.
The Cards kept Ohio Northern (8-4, 1-3 OAC) at arms distance in the second half behind the strong play of senior faceoff specialist

Connor Dziewit and Guiliano pushed the gap to eight.
Guiliano scored a game-high four times classmates
Marcus Willis (two goals, three assists) and
Connor Baak (three goals, two assists) both registered five points. Dziewit scored three times as well while junior
Nick Tholt had one score and one helper.

The Polar Bears received three goals from Anthony Pavone and eight saves from goalie Alex Pizzaro.
Otterbein (9-5, 3-1 OAC) stays on the road to finish out the week, traveling to University Heights Saturday for a critical showdown with John Carroll University. Start time is slated for 7 p.m.Â
