BEREA, Ohio – The Otterbein men's lacrosse team saw its four-game winning streak snapped Saturday night on the road, falling by a score of 12-5 at host Baldwin Wallace University.
Baldwin Wallace, improving to 11-2 on the year and 6-1 within the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC), opened a 5-0 lead after the first quarter and never looked back.

Connor Dziewit got his club on the board 36 seconds into the second quarter, and the Cards were still within striking distance, at 9-4, entering halftime after
Joe Sanfillipo and
Anthony Spingola got in on the scoring action.
The second half featured stingy defense from both sides, with BW scoring once in the third and then adding consecutive goals in the fourth to keep Otterbein as a comfortable length. The lone second-half goal from the Cards came when Spingola found the back of the with 1::43 left in regulation.
Sanfillipo led the team with three points (1G, 2A) and a game-best five ground balls while Spingola and Dziewit scored two each. Defenseman

Baldwin Wallace was led by four goals and one assist from sophomore Mike Nanosky, who transferred from NCAA Division II champion LeMoyne this past offseason. Griffin Dunkle added a hat trick of his own.
The Yellow Jackets captured 12 of 21 faceoffs and held a marginal 33-29 shot advantage.
