Game 1 (2-0 Loss)
The first affair feature dominant pitching performances from both sides, with Otterbein's
Craig Prince and Heidelberg starter Anthony Hajdu firing scoreless innings back and forth.
Hajdu exited in the sixth while Prince lasted through the seventh inning, striking out 12 Student Princes and allowing just one hit over 115 pitches. His no-hitter was broken up with two outs in the fifth.
Heidelberg (19-16, 8-8 OAC) finally cracked through in the top of the eighth, getting a two-out RBI single off the bat of second baseman Evan Long that ultimately proved to be enough. The Berg, which added an insurance run in the ninth on a solo homer, had just three hits for the entire game while Otterbein mustered four.
Norton set a new Otterbein single-season record with his 26th pitching appearance during the game.

Game 2 (7-1 Loss)
The rematch began with the same theme of solid pitching as the game remained locked at 0-0 after three innings. Heidelberg found some momentum during the fourth, taking advantage of two Cardinal throwing errors in the field and eventually plating five runs (four unearned).
Otterbein was never able to get going at the plate, scoring its only run of the day courtesy of a solo blast from Frentzel that cleared the right-field fence. He and Hernon now sit tied atop the OAC with seven round-trippers on the spring.
Heidelberg's Corey Jacobs, who pitched in game two and also hit out of the fifth spot, earned his first win of the season on the bump by surrendering just three hits of six scoreless innings.
Otterbein is scheduled to play a pair of games against nationally-ranked Wooster during the middle of the coming week before finishing out league play Friday at Muskingum. A sweep will secure a spot in the four-team OAC postseason tournament, while a split would bring tiebreakers into the equation.
