WESTERVILLE, Ohio - The Otterbein University softball team has earned the right to host the 2017 Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Tournament this weekend, after clinching the program's second-straight regular-season title.

The OAC Tournament is scheduled for May 5-7 with two guaranteed days of play and a potential elimination game, if necessary, on day three. The event will be double elimination with day one featuring four games, beginning with second-seeded Heidelberg taking on third-seeded Capital at 10 a.m. 

Top-seeded Otterbein faces fourth-seeded Mount Union at noon, with the winner taking on the winning team from game one at 2 p.m. Non-winners from games one and two will play in an elimination game at 4 p.m.

Saturday's matchups will be determined based on the results of day one, with the winner of the tournament receiving an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament. For more details on the tournament, please visit the OAC Tournament page.
