WESTERVILLE, Ohio – The Otterbein women's tennis team finally got back into action Saturday afternoon following an odd three-week layoff this time of year, and made quick work of its opponent during a breezy day on campus.

The Cardinals blanked visiting Muskingum by a 9-0 count, sweeping doubles action indoors before moving outside and easing through the individual matchups.

Otterbein now stands with a 10-3 record on the year and gets Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) play started on a winning note.

Erin Storrer and Emma Henson prevailed 8-1 on the top doubles court while the tandems of Julia Gillin/Lillia Walter and Olivia Eckels/Rachelle Moses both swept 8-0.

Storrer dropped one random game in singles but still cruised, while all other teammates did the same by 6-0, 6-0 counts.

The Cardinals will return to action Wednesday afternoon with a key conference battle at Ohio Northern. First serve is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
