Woodward leads Men's Golf to first place at Easter Leftovers Tournament

SUNBURY — Junior Carter Woodward earned individual medalist honors to lead the Otterbein men's golf team to a first-place finish as it hosted the one-round Easter Leftovers Tournament on Monday. Between their A and B teams, the Cardinals placed six golfers inside the top 10 of the individual leaderboard.

The Tournament
  • Otterbein shot a 13-over-par 301 and won the seven-team tournament by 16 strokes. Marietta was second with a 29-over-par 317, and Ohio Northern was third with a 36-over-par 324.
  • In the larger 10-team field including the B teams, the Otterbein B team finished fourth with a 39-over-par 327.
  • Woodward was the individual medalist.

  • Woodward led the Cardinals, finishing first in the 65-man field with a 2-under-par 70.
