NFCA All-Region List
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – On Thursday, the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) released its All-Region teams for the 2025 Division III softball season. Earning a spot on the Region VII Third Team was Otterbein University catcher Caroline Heller.
Heller capped off a stellar fifth-year campaign with First Team All-OAC honors, becoming one of the top offensive producers in the league. She finished the season with a .464 batting average, collecting 39 hits, 11 doubles, one home run, 24 RBIs, 16 runs scored and four stolen bases while starting 28 of the team's 31 games.
The veteran backstop opened the year with an 11-game hitting streak and delivered 10 multi-hit performances overall. Her season highlight came in a dominant 5-for-5 outing at Ohio Northern on April 22, where she racked up a home run, a double, three RBIs, and four runs scored.
Heller led the Cardinals in batting average, hits and doubles, while ranking second in RBIs. As of the final week of the regular season, she ranked fifth in the OAC for batting average.
